By accessing or using the Filing Harbor demo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the demo.

What this service is

The demo is a hosted preview of a personal tax workflow application. It is provided for demonstration and evaluation only. It does not prepare, file, or transmit tax returns, and it does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.

The demo runs in a browser-ephemeral profile: it exposes authentication and preview functionality only, and does not persist your data across restarts.

Not tax advice; no filing

Nothing in this demo constitutes tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice, and no output should be relied upon as such. Any tax figures, classifications, or explanations shown are illustrations only. Consult a qualified professional before relying on any tax information.

The demo cannot file a return and does not transmit data to any tax authority.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the demo to violate any law, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts, to interfere with or disrupt the service, to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or to automate access in a way that burdens the service.

The demo is intended for the allowlisted users or domains configured by the operator. Access may be denied or revoked at any time.

Accounts and access

Sign-in is provided through Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. The operator may suspend or terminate access at any time, for any reason, without notice.

Intellectual property

The demo, its software, and its design are protected by intellectual property rights. These terms grant you a limited, revocable right to use the demo for evaluation purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by applicable law or with written permission.

Availability and changes

The demo is provided as-is and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Features and behavior may change without warning.

Disclaimer of warranties

The demo is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. You use the demo at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the demo. This includes, without limitation, any reliance on tax figures or explanations shown in the demo.

Privacy

Your use of the demo is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes what limited data is processed and how.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the demo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the 'Last updated' date above.
